Why UNIFIX C2TE

The problem it solves.

The challenge

Larger tiles slip, and the adhesive skins over before you've finished. Standard adhesives give too little working time and tiles slide.

What makes it different

C2TE: reduced slip and extended open time for accurate, unhurried laying.

Who it's for

Tilers laying larger or heavier tiles.

Where to use it

Floors and walls, interior and exterior.

Overview

What it is.

A C2TE cement-based tile adhesive to EN 12004 — an improved adhesive with reduced slip (T) and extended open time (E), making larger and heavier tiles easier to lay accurately on floors and walls.

Application Method

How it's applied.

Ensure the substrate is sound, clean, dry and dust-free.

Mix the powder with clean water to a smooth paste.

Comb onto the substrate with a notched trowel.

Bed the tiles within the extended open time; reduced slip holds them in place.

Surface Preparation

Get the surface ready.

  • Sound, clean, dust-free substrate
  • Dampen highly absorbent surfaces
Recommended Primer

A suitable primer for the substrate is recommended before application. View primers →
